The season-opening ‘Hometown 125’ Southern Modified Race Tour event scheduled for Friday, April 1 has been postponed. The show will be made up on Friday, July 29.

With strong storms in the forecast for the North Carolina area, the decision was made by series director Randy Myers.

In an interview with Speed 51 Randy explained:

“We are always trying to look ahead and do the right thing for the tracks, fans and our competitors and sponsors. We are looking forward to coming back to Tri-County Motor Speedway on June 3rd for our regularly scheduled race and returning on July 29th for the rescheduled event,”
